In the Beginning
In the beginning was…
a spark of light,
a singularity exploding,
the power of a word,
the manifestation of psychic energy.
Where does it start?
Where does it end?
The laws of physics say
mass cannot be destroyed—
which means it is not created,
only transformed.
There is a sacred dance:
energy to mass,
mass to energy—
back and forth they go.
The energy of creation
was the source of all that is today.
And in the death of stars,
the conversion of mass to light
becomes the cradle of new worlds,
the breath of new life.
But there is a higher plane
beyond the physical world—
a resonance of energy,
a psychic force
that flows between all things:
between stars and planets,
between plants and animals,
between Earth and humanity.
When this force unites
each part of the physical world,
there arises consciousness—
an awareness of self and not-self,
a reconstruction
of what is us
and what is not.
From this comes
the illusion of separation:
an inescapable differentiation,
a sense of isolation and disconnection
from ourselves
and from all that surrounds us.
And yet—
this illusion lives in the flesh
that forgets the truth:
that the energy in our bones
comes from a common source—
the spark that lit the stars,
the pulse that runs through stone and sky.
When we look beyond matter
and open ourselves
to the psychic current of the cosmos,
our consciousness awakens
to the truth of our interconnectedness.
The web between all things,
in form or in flow,
lifts us to a higher plane.
The plane of Spirit—
that ineffable reality
where the truth of a drop of water
comes to life,
and we remember:
Even as we live as individuals,
we are not apart—
but wholly woven
into the fabric of creation.
We are like cells
in the body of the universe—
each with purpose,
each with identity,
necessary but not alone,
working in harmony
with those like us,
and those unlike.
We are animated by Spirit,
the breath within all breath,
that fuses matter and light
into the incarnate echo
of a Divine Cosmic Source—
the one that births stars,
cradles infants,
and spins electrons
around a silent, singing center.
It is Spirit
that brings us home—
back to the origin,
back to the truth,
back to the oneness
we have always been a part of
since the beginning.
